Garden Passages gates are hand made using
mortise and tenons just like fine furniture. Superior
strength urethane glues are utilized to insure stability
in an outdoor environment. Gates are sanded with 220 grit
sandpaper. Most gates are coated inside and out with
premium materials. |

How do I know what
size to order? |

A passage gate is usually hung using
2x4 wood jambs. The opening size that you have should
be reduced by 3 inches (1 ½ per side) for these
jambs. An additional ½ inch (1/4 per side)
must be subtracted for the gaps. Check with your contractor
or call us for additional information. |

can set up and manage installation for customers in

gates finished using high quality paints and stains.
Unlike most other companies, Garden Passages finishes all
components of the gate prior to assembly and then finishes
the exterior with a minimum of 4 coats of sealer/stain or paint. |

Gates are shipped in wood framed crates to protect
them from damage. While this adds some costs to the
gates (weight and labor), the protection is well worth
it. Most shipping companies will deliver “curbside.”
It is then your (your contractors) responsibility
to move the gate onto your property. |
